Summarizes my professional experience developing Web-based training courses for software between October 2002 and July 2005. Also summarizes contributions I made to improve the Mitchell University e-learning Web site.

EDTEC in Action Web Site (May 2005)
Developed for a client (EDTEC professor) who wanted a site to describe the field of Educational Technology by highlighting the experiences of SDSU EDTEC program alumni. Incorporated streaming video excerpts from alumni interviews. Translated client requests into a final product through analysis, design, and development. Currently in use as a recruitment tool on the SDSU EDTEC Web site.
Tools Used: Macromedia Dreamweaver/Fireworks, and Apple iMovie.

From the Vine to the Bottle: Self-Guided Winery Tour (May 2005)
Designed self-guided winery tour to promote informal learning in a museum-like setting. Performed analysis to design a solution that would meet winery needs (promote business, stimulate sales) while meeting learning objectives. Designed individual exhibits and an assessment instrument for winery visitors to self-rate perceived learning.

Designed lesson and quiz to teach new Mitchell International employees the basic phases of the automotive claims process. Class project for SDSU, but intent was to delivery to Mitchell International for future use on the e-learning site.

Going Global Presentation (May 2004)
As a member of a 4-person team (3 on campus, 1 remote), examined how corporations can address the challenges of globalization by applying best practices of human performance technology. Built presentation around a case study at a fictional hotel chain. Utilized Macromedia Breeze to collaborate with team members. Final presentation delivered both in on-campus class and via recorded Breeze presentation to online class. (Other Team Members: Gentiana Cheung, Jerry Marino, Sue Mullen)

Cornerstone Church Web Site (February 2005)
Designed new Web site for church using principles/best practices for using the site as an outreach tool. Created visual design, graphics and layout for pages; turned over static pages to Webmaster to incorporate dynamic elements of the site, such as calendar and photo album.
